Description

Castrol React SRF Racing is a very high performance brake fluid that offers real added value in the field of motor racing where the most extreme braking conditions are found. This product is exclusive to Castrol and is patented in many countries. Castrol React SRF Racing exceeds performance levels of US FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4, ISO 4925, JIS K2233 and the current specification SAE J 1703.


Application

Castrol React SRF Racing has an exceptionally high dry boiling point (320 ° C) which makes it ideal for heavy braking in racing or rally conditions. Castrol React SRF Racing has a very high vapor lock formation threshold (the most important measurement to assess the high temperature behavior of the product under current braking conditions), and has the advantage of maintaining this level throughout its service life. The properties of this formula mean that Castrol React SRF Racing delivers its full performance potential over a maximum period of eighteen months between two oil changes. Castrol React SRF Racing is suitable for all disc and drum brake systems except circuits requiring mineral brake fluid.
This product is miscible with conventional brake fluids meeting USFMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT4, ISO 4925 and current SAE J 1703 and J1704 specifications. However, mixing Castrol React SRF Racing with a traditional brake fluid lowers its performance, it is recommended to drain and rinse the circuit well before topping it up with Castrol React SRF Racing. In order to maintain its high level of performance with regard to the formation of steam buffers, it is recommended that the circuit be completely drained every 18 months.
The shelf life of Castrol React SRF Racing is 2 years.
